Subject: New Trepan RT B & W Film Developer (Cat.# 40DE415/416)	Bulletin # 0006 Date January 7, 1997

Trebla has introduced a new "universal" black and white film developer called Trepan RT Black & White Film Developer.
It is a two part liquid concentrate that makes 25 gallons.
The catalog numbers are: Part A, 40DE415 (5 gallon cube)

Part B, 40DE416 (5 gallon cube).

Hardener has been incorporated into the developer, which significantly minimizes film scratching. Based on the drying characteristics of the film, it may not be necessary to use hardener in the fixer.
Although designed for roller transport machines, it also works well in cine machines.

Initial processing specifications:

The processing time can vary considerably based on the type of processor being used and the degree of agitation. For this reason, it is best to run a series of B & W control strips at various time increments as to determine the time needed to achieve the appropriate contrast index.

Contrast Index = (HD - TD) + 0.10 HD = High Density (step 4), TD = Toe Density (step 2)

To increase the contrast index, increase the development time.

To decrease the contrast index, decrease the development time.

These are starting recommendations. Additional adjustments may be necessary to obtain the desired results.

Subject: New Packaging for Trelux TL-60 Developer Replenisher (55DE550)	Bulletin # 0005 Date January 6, 1997

Trebla has changed the 1 x 10 liter packaging for Trelux TL-60 Developer Replenisher (Cat.# 55DE550) to a 4 x 10 liter package.

Dealers and Direct Customers will automatically receive the new 4 x 10 liter package on a stock turnover basis. Pricing per 10 liter mix will remain the same.

For the interim, the new 4 x 10 liter packaging will be identified as the Catalog # 55DE550-N. Upon depletion of the 1 x 10 liter packaging, the 4 x 10 liter packaging will assume the original 55DE550 catalog number.

Based on current inventory, the 1 x 10 liter packaging will depleted in approximately two weeks.

Subject: RA Minilab Bleach-fix Replenisher NR (30BF378) @ 5 mL/ft²	Bulletin # 0002 Date October 3, 1996

Trebla's RA Minilab Bleach-fix Replenisher NR (Cat.# 30BF378) was originally designed to replenish at 9-11 mL/ft². After thoroughly testing this product, we have concluded that it can effectively perform at a replenishment rate of 5 mL/ft². This low replenishment rate is premised on the following conditions:

The processor squeegees (squeegee rollers) should be in optimum condition.
The bleach-fix working tank solution should be replaced with an equal volume of replenisher every two weeks. As an example: a processor with a 6.0 liter bleach-fix working tank capacity should consume 6.0 liters of replenisher in two weeks or 3.0 liters of replenisher in one week. Lower utilization labs (less than one bleach-fix tank turnover every two weeks) should not run this product at the reduced rate.

If a lab cannot meet the above conditions, the replenishment rate should be set at the original rate of 9-11 mL/ft².

Note: This product was designed specifically for minilabs. It should not be used in traditional roller transport machines.

Subject: New pouch design: 15DE175, 15BF176	Bulletin # 0001 Date September 30, 1996

New pouch design - 15DE176:

Effective immediately, Trebla is packaging the Trecon RA Bleach-fix Replenisher 15BF176 (2x10 L Kit) in the new pouch design. The transition from bottles to pouches will take place via the following batch numbers.

The last production ID number for bottles will be 890176

The first production ID number for the new pouch will be 936176

Each new kit will contain instructions (see attached) on how to properly use the new pouch design when mixing.

New pouch design - 15DE175:

In the very near future, Trecon RA Developer Replenisher 15DE175 (2 x 10 L Kit) will also be packaged in the new pouch design. The specifics will be announced in a future Technical Sale Bulletin.
